So I'm tired of this.
I just wish things would go back to normal...
I wanted to do this without renting a shit ton of servers.
Tor takes like 8 seconds to change circuit so it's useless for doing simultaneous connections with different ips.
I wrote a 'slow read' yesterday which seemed to work for an hour; that, or my internet was failing to load this site lol.
Then, judging by the output, it seems I was rate limited.
Fine, that shouldn't have worked in the first place.
Today I wrote a 'slow header', which did not work at all on this site.
This one I came up with when reading nginx conn limits docs... it says that a connection is only considered one after
having read the whole header. I don't know if you're using nginx or not, but I'm assuming you do and if you're not then assuming whatever other web server is similar in this aspect.
Anyway, this did
established thousands of connections, or at least that's what output said, from a single ip. But it didn't bring it down.
If you are using nginx you should adjust the value of client_header_timeout, or equivalent.
It's worth noting that 8channel went down easily, its admin probably doesn't care about configuring shit.
It's been interesting and I'm learning a lot.
But by now I think my only option is to use a shit ton of servers. I'm not doing that.
, I think either you took me too seriously or as a complete joke. Either way, please remember that this site is meant for fun. I am
really sorry for spamming, that was extremely cheap.
If you are upset, please tell me how I could make things better. If you don't give a shit about me, please also say so.
